EVENT OVERVIEW: Online purchases have surged during the COVID-19 pandemic along with the use of on-demand home delivery apps. This dramatic shift forced retailers and supply chains to quickly adapt in a time of great uncertainty and changing conditions. This webinar will explore how supply chains and distribution channels of e-retailers have responded to fluctuations in consumer demand due to the the COVID-19 pandemic, including product availability, delivery lead times, prioritization of services, labor issues and challenges, workforce consequences of COVID-19 outbreaks at distribution centers, and other considerations. The webinar will also include a discussion on how to maximize the benefits and reduce negative consequences of e-commerce during pandemics and other disruptions.
