EVENT OVERVIEW: Experts from the UC Institute of Transportation Studies will discuss the synergy between California’s goals for electric vehicle adoption and renewable energy. Speakers will address the status of and goals for electric vehicle adoption and charging in California; provide an overview of the power grid’s evolution based on the state’s clean energy goals; introduce concepts for electric vehicle and grid integration; discuss the roles and interests of different stakeholders; and highlight opportunities for state policy.
